What is a Crossfit Class Like?

We're thrilled you're curious!

Our coaches are dedicated to ensuring:

  • Understanding: Everyone in class knows the workout plan, necessary equipment, equipment locations, and proper techniques for all movements.

  • Technique: Each participant uses appropriate weights, maintains proper form, and follows a workout variation that helps achieve their personal fitness goals.

  • Enjoyment: Our classes are filled with amazing people, great music, and plenty of fun (and occasionally corny) jokes!

What to Expect

Workouts at CrossFit Lafayette can be modified in terms of weight, intensity, and specific mechanics to suit any fitness level, whether you're a complete beginner or an elite athlete.

CrossFit is all about constant variation, so every day brings a new challenge, keeping boredom at bay. Our workouts incorporate essential movements from gymnastics, weightlifting, rowing, and more, reflecting the best aspects of functional fitness.

All our classes are led by certified coaches and follow a structured, 60-minute progression that includes:

  • Warm-Up: Guided by a coach to prepare your body.

  • Movement Instruction: Detailed demonstrations of the workout movements.

  • Workout Supervision: Coaches monitor and correct movements throughout the session to ensure safety and effectiveness.
